5. Inspection Period + Repairs
A home inspection is never mandated, it is highly recommended, and some loans do require certain inspections. The home inspection allows the buyer to see how certain items work in the home and also to see if any items do need repair in the home. If items do need repair, the buyer can certainly request the seller to fix items.
6. Contract to Close
During this process, your Real Estate Agent is working diligently on paperwork for your new home alongside the title company. Rest assured that all items are being handled by trained professionals.
7. Closing - You’re Now a Homeowner!
Congratulations! At this stage, a closing date has been mutually agreed upon, and you are a new homeowner! The keys are yours!
